Biography - Osman Chubarov

Osman Chubarov was born in the Crimean village of Gurzuf on December 28, 1923.

In 1955 he graduated from Rostov Art College.

Since 1957 he was a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.

In 1963 Osman Chubarov graduated from Leningrad Institute of Painting and Architecture named after Repin.

As an artist, he took an active part in republican, all-union and international exhibitions. His paintings were appreciated by experts from many European countries. The artist's works can be found in museums and private collections in Ukraine and Russia.

Osman Chubarov was an honored art worker of the Chechen-Ingush ASSR.

The artist died in Simferopol on March 1, 2003.
