Biography - Eskender Useinov

Eskender Useinov was born in the city of Sudak in 1990.

In 2012, he graduated from the Faculty of Management and Economics of Taurida National University named after Vernadsky in Sudak.

In 2013, Eskender began to engage in art photography.

“It all started with a great desire to show other people what I see myself. Most often, those were events, beautiful landscapes. My training began with reading the instructions for the camera and some information on the Internet,”- Eskender recalls the beginning of his career.

From 2015 to 2017, the photo artist participated and won the photo contests “Qirim bayraq“ and “Menim bayragim“. One of his photos was published in National Geographic.

In 2020, Eskender took a course in the art of photography from the famous photographer and art critic Alexander Medvedev.

“I like to photograph people, to reveal problems, phenomena, concerns and desires. If to determine genres, the main one is a portrait. Now, to a greater extent, photography has become for me a method of communicating with people. Through photography, I try to tell about my experiences or what I would like to change or show and remind. I really like to shoot landscapes to show the versatility and beauty of our planet,”- says Eskender Useinov about the areas of his work.

At the moment, the photographer plans to develop in the area of art photography, to create works that will positively affect people’s lives.

Eskender Useinov lives and works in Crimea.

“Crimea is my home, which I love. The nature of Crimea never ceases to amaze and delight me,”- says the photographer about his homeland.
